oh and also im really new to digital art, so when u save it as a vector file (probably svg), how did you upload it as a png??? sorry if thats a stupid question

You need to export it to a png to upload it. In Inkscape it's done by clicking File->Export Bitmap, and in Illustrator it's File->Export.

Ok honesly, how is your computer handling this in Inkscape? Am I doing something wrong? Because I have 8-core cpu and yet, program is lagging strongly when I open it in Inkscape...

Well, it IS lagging on my computer too. To be able to work with it, I work with only one layer at the time, and often disable effects. Plus, some hand-made patches for Ink :)

Hi! Im really glad that you liked my painting [link] which you used to make this vector image.
I can't remember if you have asked me or told me about it, but if you haven't I would advice you to do so in the future :) Just to avoid copyright issues etc.

I thought I might let you know that one of your top right layers that has the tree in it is a little low, when zoomed in you can see a good gap between it and the top

Other then that, very nice =^_^=

well i think its a really nic epeice! i love it! i could suggest that you make light ajusments so that fluttershy matche the background lighting and maybe alter the bg and fluttershy styles so that they match :>

Just so beautiful! It looks exactly like the ravine behind my house! Right down to the tree bridge. I'm usually standing where Fluttershy is.

This is pretty. Really pretty. This is actually some of the best art I've seen come from this fandom, I'm really amazed. I'm guessing you used Inkscape for this? How hard is it to adjust to? I have it on my computer, but the learning curve from GIMP makes it discouraging. Is it worth it?

Thanks! Drawing in vector is completely different from raster, so it may be difficult to get accustomed to it after using GIMP. Aside from this Inkscape is quite easy tool to learn.

Both raster and vector has its own advantages, but I think that if you want to draw complex pieces like this raster is better. If you want to draw in show style, then vector is better.

Thanks for the tips- I was debating on using vectoring with GIMP, but I like the idea of using Inkscape for that and GIMP for detailed works.

About ten or twenty seconds. It renders quite fast, cause there is practically no blurs.
